Today the jury came to a verdict in the Scooter Libby Trial. Fox News, with the scrupulous attention to accuracy that has become its calling card, announced the decision.
There was only one small problem with their announcement.
I’m sure this was an entirely understandable case of human error. Fox News employees are only human, right? These minor mistakes can happen to anybody. And besides, it’s not like they’re ever done anything like this before. Besides, now that their entirely unintentional mistake has been brought to light, we can be sure that they, and the rest of the conservative media, will continue to report on the story’s details with their customary fairness and balance.
