Swan Diving off the Tongues of Crippled Giants
Remember the good ol’ days, back when the awesomeness of Youtube reigned supreme over an Internet composed of sweetness and light? Well, those days may soon be coming to an end, what with the lawsuits and the multi-zillion dollar competitors taking aim. So, we might as well get as much use out of Youtube as possible, before it becomes as flaccid and boring as everything inevitably does when grasped by the stringy claws of corporate sponsorship.
First up, here’s “Electric Worry,” the first single off Clutch’s new album, From Beale Street to Oblivion. The video is actually a fairly standard performance clip, but the song kicks ass. In any sane and just universe this would be biggest selling single of the entire year. Of course, we’re all well aware that this is not a sane and just universe.
Ok, that song tore my speakers a third cornchute. I think we’ll stick with the Clutch theme. Here’s “Burning Beard,” from their last album, Robot Hive/Exodus.
